MidtownPR is the culmination of a lifetime of work in and around newsrooms.
Bill Walker was a reporter for Canada's largest newspaper, the Toronto Star, for 20 years, serving as Bureau Chief at Queen's Park, Ottawa and Washington D.C.
As a communicator, he has helped grow a Canadian firm, led an American multinational firm's work in Canada, and finally, cemented his direct connection to clients by founding MidtownPR in 2013 to coincide with the launch of his book "Crisis Communications in the 24/7 Social Media World", available on Amazon.com and Kindle; in English and Spanish in audio versions. Bill has worked extensively as a specialist in crisis communications, with an established track record working with complex, contentious issues.
MidtownPR works selectively with a small number of clients, seeking long-term engagements that provide a richer, more thoughtful experience for both sides.
